The day before Aaron's birthday, we took a trip to China Peak for the day to celebrate! The girls were really excited about playing in the snow and Daddy was happy to have his girls' company.

She absolutely loved it and wanted to know when she could "ride the big chairs up the hill". Audrey had a super fun month at preschool! On "pajama day", all the children got to wear their pajamas to school. Audrey was also told to bring her pillow and a flashlight. They had pillow fights, made popcorn, and read bedtime stories in the dark, using only their flashlights. So fun!!

Audrey's class also went on a field trip to the pet store last month.

When I was a little girl, we used to ride our bikes to Fresno State to see all of the different farm animals. I used to love these trips with my family!! A couple of weeks ago, Aaron and I decided to do the same thing, only drive. The girls quickly ate their lunch in the back of our truck, then we were on our way to see the farm animals.

Audrey was not impressed with the pigs and thought they smelled, "real bad!"

Uncle Sanden and Aunty Melissa are proud parents of their new little bundle, Tanner Colette Love, who was born on December 30th at 11:41pm. She weighed 9 pounds 13 ounces and measured 22 inches long. We love our sweet niece so much already and know that Audrey and Madison are so happy to have another cousin to love on and eventually play with!!

To celebrate the arrival of the new year, we went to a friend's home to hang out for the evening. Before meeting up with our friends, just the four of us enjoyed some yummy tempanyaki. The girls had fun watching the chef cook our dinner right in front of us!

We had so much fun ringing in the new year, 2012, with some of our very closest friends. We can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for the Loves, and we wish you all a Happy New Year!

christmas...part 2

The morning after Christmas, dressed warm and cozy, we went over to Nani and Papa's house to celebrate with the Tatums. Audrey and Madison had a blast playing with their cousins all day. Nani prepared a delicious lunch that left us all feeling very fat and happy. It was a special day spent with very, very special people that we love so very much!!

While the rest of us were cleaning up the mess from the morning, Madison was helping herself to a treat...a chocolate Santa Claus(notice the wrapping on the floor). Totally guilty!!!

Early Christmas morning, Audrey climbed into bed with us and waited patiently until Madison woke up. Together, the two girls walked out to the living room to see the presents that were left for them under the tree.

Audrey took her time opening each gift, making sure every last bit of wrapping paper was removed. She was also very grateful and tackled us with a hug every time!
