The week of Halloween, Audrey was diagnosed with a double ear infection. We quickly got her on antibiotics so that she would feel better soon and be healthy enough to do some trick-or-treating. When Saturday came, Audrey was almost back to feeling 100%. That evening we got her all dressed up in her costume. Ever since she was little, we have called Audrey our little bug. So, it was kind of cute that this year Audrey's costume was a ladybug. She was the cutest ladybug we have ever seen! She loved every part of her costume. The fluffy tu-tu, the tiny wings on her back, and even the antenna headband which she kept on her head all night. Just as Audrey finished getting ready, her cousins Kaleb and Abby arrived in their costumes. They were so excited about going trick-or-treating...well, Abby not so much. But, she did enjoy being pulled around in the wagon all night. What a difference one year can make. Last Halloween, Audrey spent most of her time in a wagon. This year, she was all about walking door-to-door with her big boy cousin, Kaleb. Together, those two had a blast!!

Ready to go trick-or-treating.
Audrey and Kaleb the dinosaur, I mean dragon, I mean dinosaur...he kept changing his mind.
Abby the kitty-cat, digging in the dirt. Just what kitty-cats do!
The first door we went to.
Audrey checking out the goods.
After the very first house we went to, Audrey stopped right in the middle of the people's walkway, sat down, and reached inside her bag to see what she got.
So cute! Kaleb walking Audrey up to the door.
Nani and Papa trick-or-treating with their grandkids.
When we got home that night, after trick-or-treating, we popped popcorn and drank hot chocolate. What a yummy treat!
