2 Years Old!

On November 21st, our baby girl turned 2 years old! We can't believe that it has been two years since we held our little one for the first time. We love her so much!! We love waking up to her sweet voice in the mornings and seeing her precious face. It immediately brings us joy. We enjoy all of the time that we get to spend together playing with blocks, puzzles, her baby dolls, singing, and dancing. We have so much fun! Our favorite part of the day is walking into her room at night to peek on her just one more time before going to bed. Audrey is growing up right before our eyes. She is no longer a baby, but our little girl. We are so thankful for the first two years that we have had with Audrey. We know that we are blessed and are grateful for the Lords blessings.

To celebrate Audrey's second birthday, we invited family and a few of her closest friends to The Little Gym. It was the perfect place for her party! Audrey loved every minute of it. She had the freedom to run around, tumble on mats, jump, and swing from bars. But, the best part was that she got to do it with all of the people that she loves. When the party was over we asked her what her favorite part was and she said,"tuptakes!" Audrey loves to eat cupcakes, and the ones that Nani made for her party were delicious. Audrey still talks about wanting to go back to The Little Gym. And, every once in awhile we hear her singing, "Happy Birthday to Audrey..." It is adorable!

Thankful

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here in the Love home, we have many things to be thankful for. Our gracious Heavenly Father, our great health, our sweet family, our close friends, our church, our jobs...just to name a few. Yesterday, we took time through out the day to reflect on all the blessings that the Lord has given us. We truly could never thank him enough. In May, we will once again be reminded of how faithful and loving our God is when we welcome our second miracle into the world. We ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers as our little one grows and develops. We are so excited and can't wait to meet the next "baby Love".

Little Lady "Love" Bug

The week of Halloween, Audrey was diagnosed with a double ear infection. We quickly got her on antibiotics so that she would feel better soon and be healthy enough to do some trick-or-treating. When Saturday came, Audrey was almost back to feeling 100%. That evening we got her all dressed up in her costume. Ever since she was little, we have called Audrey our little bug. So, it was kind of cute that this year Audrey's costume was a ladybug. She was the cutest ladybug we have ever seen! She loved every part of her costume. The fluffy tu-tu, the tiny wings on her back, and even the antenna headband which she kept on her head all night. Just as Audrey finished getting ready, her cousins Kaleb and Abby arrived in their costumes. They were so excited about going trick-or-treating...well, Abby not so much. But, she did enjoy being pulled around in the wagon all night. What a difference one year can make. Last Halloween, Audrey spent most of her time in a wagon. This year, she was all about walking door-to-door with her big boy cousin, Kaleb. Together, those two had a blast!!

Abby the kitty-cat, digging in the dirt. Just what kitty-cats do!

After the very first house we went to, Audrey stopped right in the middle of the people's walkway, sat down, and reached inside her bag to see what she got.

So cute! Kaleb walking Audrey up to the door.

When we got home that night, after trick-or-treating, we popped popcorn and drank hot chocolate. What a yummy treat!

Pumpkin Patch

The week before Halloween, our family took a trip out to the pumpkin patch with Nani, Papa, and the Tatum family. It was so much fun watching Audrey run around, exploring with her two cousins. She enjoyed the playground, the animals, the pumpkin patch, and picking out her very own pumpkin. She thought she would enjoy the tractor ride until about a minute into it. Her face went from unsure to a "get me out of here" expression. For the remainder of the ride she cried and looked around for Daddy and Mommy. When the ride came to a stop she quickly got out and headed in the opposite direction. After a wheel barrel ride from Mommy and some pictures in the corn maze, it was time to go home.
