Wild Water Adventures

As a Christmas gift from Nani and Papa, we were given season passes to Wild Water Adventure Park. A few weeks ago, we went together as a family for the first time this summer. And, just like last summer, Audrey absolutely LOVED it!!!!

All dressed and ready to go!

Audrey's first set of piggy tails.

Wild Water...here I come!!

Audrey quickly posed for a picture with Daddy before taking off. She couldn't get into the water quick enough!!

The Octopus slide...which she recently decided she doesn't like because at the very top she gets squirted in the face.

Going down the BIG slides all by herself!

The slide was so wild and crazy that Audrey almost lost her suit. : )

This was exactly how Madison chose to spend her time while at the water park.

Sisters

We have also gone to the park a couple of times with Nani and the cousins.

Madison was there too!

Quick break for lunch.

How sweet is this picture? This is such a rare occasion I was excited that we were able to capture it.

Abby wasn't so excited about taking a picture with Audrey.

Seriously, we didn't even make it out of the parking lot. Out!!

Gymnastics

This month Audrey started taking gymnastics at Break the Barriers. It is a Mommy and Me class, so I get the privilege to participate with Audrey every week. It is something that just Audrey and I get to do together, and we are having so much fun!!!

All ready for gymnastics!!
How cute is she? Take a look at her gymnastic slippers...love them!!

Audrey's favorite, the trampoline.

Whoa! Balance, balance, balance.

Up the climbing wall she goes.

What? A head stand? Seriously?

All buckled up and ready...

...to jump...

...very high!!

Hold on tight!
Ta-da!!!

Getting her stamp for a job well done!!

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, we went to Nani and Papa's house to swim and eat pizza with some very good friends. The water in the pool was absolutely freezing!!! The kids were in and out all evening. A few of the Daddys were brave and got in too, but you didn't see any Mommys going for a dip. Thankfully, the DeManbys brought their Bounce House over for all the little ones to enjoy. When the kids had had enough of the freezing cold water, they were able to warm up by jumping for a few minutes. All in all, we had a great time hanging out with family and friends.

Audrey spent most of her time in the bounce house!!

Madison spent most of her time just kickin' it.

Madison's First Bath

At eight days old, baby Madison was given her very first bath...

Getting a feel for the warm water and the not-so-cozy plastic tub. It was so hard for us to keep Madison from flopping around. She is still so very tiny!

Daddy was in charge of washing sweet Madison, while big sister Audrey assisted.

She was not happy about having to get out of the warm water.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the two girls together.

Just precious.

Dress Up

Audrey has recently rediscovered the joy of playing dress-up. I think she did a great job putting together this outfit and finding the perfect accessories to match. Once she has completed her wardrobe change, she stands in front of the fireplace where she can see herself, and then she shows off her latest dance moves.

You can't really see the details in this picture, but Audrey's shoes have a picture of Barbie on them and her necklace says, "Bling-Bling". She is rocking it!!

Let's Go Fly A Kite...

The first two weeks after Madison was born, Aaron stayed home to help take care of all three of his girls. We really tried to make the transition for Audrey as smooth as possible. Our daily routine didn't change much, however, having Daddy home all day was a little out of the ordinary. Audrey loved it!!! She is such a Daddy's girl. We felt like we had been inside for way too long, so one afternoon after nap, we decided to walk down to the newest park close to our house. It was a perfect day for flying a kite...

Getting help from Daddy.

She wanted to do it all by herself...

...and she did!!

Holding on so very tight, Audrey ran and ran all over the park watching her kite fly high.

Madison Grace Love

On Friday, May 14th at 4:00am, I started having pretty strong and consistent contractions that woke me up. After tracking them until 7:00am, we noticed that they began to get further and further apart. False labor. Later that evening at 10:00pm, just as we were getting ready for bed, the contractions started up again. This time, the contractions grew stronger and stronger as time went on, and they were consistently happening every 5-7 minutes. By 1:00am, we had made the decision to make our way to the hospital. We checked in at Clovis Community and we were in a room by 2:00am. At 3:30am and 5cm dilated, I was given an epidural. By 8:00am I was dilated at an 8 and feeling really good. Somewhere between 8:00am and 9:00am, there was a little scare with not being able to find the baby's heartbeat. At this time, I was also complete and ready to push, just waiting on the doctor to arrive. Around 9:20am, after the doctor broke my water, I began to push. After pushing for almost forty minutes, at 9:58am on Saturday, May 15th, Madison Grace Love was born.

Aaron and I bought Audrey her very own infant carrier to put her baby doll in. She is such a good mommy to her babies, and she has been a wonderful big sister to Madison.
