september birthdays

Our September is filled with very special birthdays!! Our niece, Abby, and my mom, Nani, share the same birthday. This year, Abby turned 2 years old and Nani turned...well, let's just say it was a "big" one. Five days later, Papa had his "big" birthday too!! We are so grateful and blessed beyond words to be celebrating such wonderful people. We love you three so very much!!

Birthday girl, Abby!

We partied with Abby, eating ice cream and swimming in Nani and Papa's pool. Abby loved her ice cream sundae!!

These two cousins are only 10 months apart, and they love every minute that they get to spend with one another.

I LOVE this picture!!! These three are so important to me and hold such a huge place in my heart. Mom, you will always be a role model to me and a best friend. On Nani's birthday, we went to lunch at Deli Delicious...yummy!!

Audrey made this beautiful painting for Nani. Of course, it's purple, Audrey's favorite color!

There is so much to say about what an amazing Dad I have...my hero for sure. I love you, Dad, forever and always. On Papa's special day, the girls and I went to his work and then took him out to lunch. Audrey also made Papa a drawing and a sweet card.

Papa, Nani, and Abby blowing out their birthday candle. We all went to celebrate together at a restaurant where we ate yummy teppanyaki. Thank you, Papa!

After dinner, we came back to our house for dessert. Happy Birthday Nani and Papa!!!

The secret is out! A "big" birthday for sure. We love you so, so much!! : )

madison - 4 months

Madison has entered into the world of exploration! She reaches and grabs for anything that is close by, such as toys dangling from her car seat or a handful of her big sister's hair. Just recently we brought out a new activity seat for Madison to play in. After Audrey showed her how each toy works, Madison ventured out on her own. She is getting stronger every day. With just a little bit of help from Mommy or Daddy, Madison is able to sit up and look around without having too much of a bobble-head. She is also rolling over from her tummy to her back. Madison is such a happy baby, and she has become very vocal in the past month. The squeaks and squeals that we hear from our baby girl bring smiles to our faces. We love Madison so much and are amazed at the joy she has brought to our home.

Chillaxin' at Nani and Papa's pool on Labor Day.

Taking a rest with Daddy.

Getting some tummy time.

Madison loves playing on her Einstein Mat, and she really likes to grab on to the cool toys that hang from it.

Enjoying a Saturday afternoon at the zoo.
