guess who arrived to our house on December 1st?
that's right...the Elf on the Shelf!!
we immediately read the story to find out what the little elf was doing in our home. come to find out, it was sent by Santa Claus himself to watch the girls during the day, returning to the North Pole at night to give a report...naughty or nice?
Audrey named our elf, "Strawberry, because she's a girl." every morning, Audrey cannot begin her day until she has found Strawberry. Madison just points and squeals uncontrollably!

the only rule that must be followed is that Strawberry cannot be touched. if she is touched, she might lose her magic and then won't be able to report back to Santa. Audrey reminds us of this rule often and says that "it will hurt Strawberry, real bad"! Strawberry also cannot talk, but is a great listener. good thing, because Audrey has mentioned a few items from her wish list.
we have welcomed Strawberry into our home with open arms and will be sad when she has to return with Santa Claus the night before Christmas.
