pocket tornadoes

In August, we signed Audrey up for soccer, not knowing just how much she would LOVE it!!!

One of Audrey's favorite parts about playing soccer was that Daddy was her coach.
It was so much fun for both of them!!
On the first day of practice, Audrey ran out to the soccer field, wearing the tinniest shin guards and soccer cleats. She had her purple water bottle in one hand and her pink soccer ball in the other. She was ready!!

dribbling towards the goal
never too much fun

gooooooooooooooooo tornadoes!!!
throw in...to herself, of course
During the game, the players were subbed out every five minutes. Audrey had a really hard time being on the sidelines. In fact, in this picture she was actually yelling at Aaron, "Daddy!! I want to play now!!" It tested her patience to say the least.

Papa came to cheer Audrey on...
...and Nani even snuck out of work a couple of times, just to see Audrey play.
Grandpa and Grandma hardly missed a game!

the best part for many, the snacks!
after the big game, most Saturday afternoons were spent napping
receiving a medal from her coach
great way to end the season
