Missing Band-Aid

A few weeks ago, Audrey was in our living room playing up on the fireplace ledge. Although she knows that opening and closing the fireplace doors are a "no touch", she continued to do it anyway. It wasn't long before I heard her scream in pain because she had gotten one of her fingers pinched in one of the doors. There was immediately blood all over the place!!! After getting her finger cleaned up and asking Nani to view the damage to see if it required a trip to the emergency, we decided that it would simply need a band-aid and lots of kisses. Audrey loved looking at the "meow-meow" band-aid on her finger(it was a special Hello Kitty band-aid), but when it was time for bed she quickly changed her mind. The finger that she had injured is one of the fingers that she usually sucks on when falling asleep, and having a band-aid on it made that impossible. Needless to say, she was very upset when we put her to bed and it took her awhile to finally fall asleep. That same evening, before Aaron and I went to bed, we went into her room to check on her. I was surprised to see that she had managed to remove the band-aid so that she could suck on that finger. Now if we could just find that band-aid...

...nope, that is not a "boo-boo" on her leg. That is the missing "meow meow" band-aid!
